Before resigning from the US State Department in 2004 due to excessive secrecy demands, Fred Burks served for many years as a language interpreter for Presidents Bush and Clinton, Vice Presidents Gore and Cheney, and many other top officials of the US and other countries. Through these meetings and through his active participation in an international network of courageous individuals dedicated to transformation, Fred acquired in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of our political and economic systems.

After receiving a wealth of eye-opening information on major cover-ups from a variety of respected sources, Fred developed the website WantToKnow.info to make this vital information available to the public. In this and other websites managed by PEERS, the nonprofit he then founded, Fred and his team provide empowering ideas on how to work together to build a brighter future for us, for our children, and for our world.
